Sequencing on the Dance Trapeze with Nancy Smith

This workshop focuses on vocabulary for sequencing on the single point dance trapeze - ground to air and back again. The dance trapeze is hung from a single point so it can spin, swing, and circle, allowing for freedom of movement. Students will learn to use different movement modalities (effortlessness, momentum, interruption and more) to find your artistic “meat on the bone.”
Prerequisites: Trapeze or Hoop aerialists who can invert and come to sitting on a bar without help from an instructor are welcome to this sequencing on dance trapeze workshop.
